All is Quiet

What is happening in the Norwalk Public Schools? It's been very quiet at Central Office.

  1. Has anyone noticed how Mike Lyons blames everyone but himself? (Yet he protects Ralph and Manny) Who's next in the ongoing Blame Game? A favorite target is the Deputy. Is the Deputy responsible for global warming too? Why is Mike throwing these people under the bus?

  2. Because he will never admit to making a mistake.

Still would like to know why he is protecting the incompetent Ralphie???? How are this IT initiatives going? Anyone have any idea if the chrome books are still a mess?? What about the wifi?? Or his proudest accomplishments. ..Facebook and Twitter accounts???

  3. According to NON, Ralph was in charge of placing the 99s, and that's why Marvin has such a large class. Ralph apparently doesn't understand the importance of the placements of 99s. Daddona was blamed by Mike.

  4. Why is the director of IT doing that??? Just one more thing that he will screw up.

Starting to wonder what he has to do to get fired

  5. All they had to do was call up the Deputy to come back in and help out. He never screwed up the 99s.

    1. After all the negative things Mike Lyons and the Red Apples have said about the Deputy, do you really think he'd come back to help them out now?

    2. He's more of a gentleman than Mike. So maybe, yes he would.

    3. Seriously, Daddona??? He's in deep shit

    4. Really? ???? Clue us in....

    5. He has retired. Why are there bloodthirsty people here? Seriously, go get a therapist. You need one! Masochist!

    6. Daddona should be worried .... tick tock Tony ... he tried to screw NPS on the way out but ... he will get nailed ....

    7. Okay, it is clear you are unhinged. Such animus! First, Daddona retired because he wanted to retire. Secondly, I am sure he did nothing to screw the system. Your extreme anger is dangerous, sounding almost sociopathic. I hope you are not around children. Please get help.

  6. Mike Lyons claims that the position of Deputy Superintendent of Special Education was already in the budget for 2015-2016. Can anyone find it?

    1. Nope...and of course, mike refuses to respond to the questions that marj posts. ...he's been caught telling tales....AGAIN

wonder if somebody's nephew needs a job again so they make up a new position

  7. Looks like the the posting was for a Director of Special Education. There is no posting for a Deputy Special Ed. Mike could lose the election with (1) the extraordinary exodus of many administrators, (2) loss of the Dalio grant due to sloppy oversight, (3) cover-ups and lack of transparency, (4) accusations blaming innocent administrators and (5) the totally negative environment in which administrators are expected to operate. Much is wrong in Norwalk. Perhaps we need a Board who supports the people who are in charge of delivering quality education. Let's try for support and accountability, something this Board lacks.

    1. One can only hope that he's voted out.

He's too chicken to respond to anyone who presents facts on NON.

    2. Yeah right ... it is wake up time for all of you. Whether Lyons gets re-elected or not, the tide has turned. The inmates aren't running the asylum anymore

  8. Wow! Did anyone see the message to MarjM from Mark Chapman on NoN? It appears in the Mike Lyons piece about 'Norwalk BOE Goes Back to CREC' - How nasty! Did Mark Chapman not check the posting for the Director of Special Ed? He is laying into Marj for having a large ax to grind and not telling the facts. Isn't that considered unprofessional for a journalist to do that? Is Mike Lyons running NoN? What's going on there? Only posters who agree with Mike are allowed? No whistleblowers?

    1. I agree with you it was a terrible post.... not only that he did not edit the prior comment that attacked MarjorieM and called her 'less than useless' .... how does that not violate NoN's own posting policies? NoN is just becoming a forum for Mike Lyons and his Red Apple bandwagon to spew their own twist on reality.

  9. I do not have an ax to grind, nor am I falsifying information. I am deeply perturbed by the NON treatment of me. I was not the only one wondering if Lyons was all too powerful. I agree that I am treated differently there, since those who post nasty comments about me are not subject to the same standards that I am.

    1. That's because you don't listen Marj. Go down with your buddy Daddona

    2. Accurate. Ms. MarjorieM(orningstar) works full time on both sites as a Daddona PR person. It's kinda funny to watch over the years. He's busy feeding her what to post.

He's gone at last, and despite the two of them posting here, I doubt they would ever let him back,

    3. I heard MarjorieM is a certain administrator at Norwalk High with an ax to grind.

    4. Marj is or was an elementary principal.

    5. No, a Board member, or ex-Board member.

    6. Enough of blaming everyone but Santa Claus. Why make Marj so important? You are wasting your time and ours about who is Marj. I will delete any further comments. Time for a new topic!

  10. NON check the facts. Mike Lyons said the Deputy of Special Education was in the budget in January. The truth is.......the Board just elevated the position recently. Adamowski must have someone in mind who requires a higher salary. Another big big spender for Norwalk. We keep inviting them in.

    1. Not sure when NON went from independent news source to mouthpiece for BOE Chairman.

They don't challenge anything he writes, and seem to now be "taking his side" when someone disagrees with him.

Time for me to stop visiting the website; they depend on internet traffic to keep themselves in business. Maybe if we all walk away from them for a few weeks, they'll feel it where it hurts the most, their pocketbook.

    2. Count me in. I won't be reading their biased articles. I hope others will follow suit.
