Here we go again.....

At tonight's Board of Education meeting, it appears that Sue Haynie was let out of her 'fill in the blank' to trash the superintendent. The woman is uncontrollably angry! In my opinion, the more she publicly opposes the superintendent in this juvenile way, the better he looks.

  1. Sounds like someone fears sue's comments. That is why you keep picking on her.

    1. Have you been reading the comments on this blog? Everyone knows she is totally out of control. She has made herself the center of all this negative attention. I am reporting what I see and hear.

    2. The only thing anyone should fear if you go to a Board of Education is that Sue Haynie will make comments, and more comments, and still more comments and even more comments . . .

  2. Sue tried to slam the interim superintendent for having little teaching experience (he had taught social studies for years). Marks had none.
Sue tried to slam the guy for not having curriculum experience outside of Norwalk. Marks had no curriculum experience (she was from the HR department in Montgomery County).
Not only is Sue Haynie wrong most of the time, but she's a hypocrite all of the time.

  3. Long time malcontent who's stopped going to Board of Education meetings. I don't understand why we can never get an answer when we ask a question during public comments. My frustration doesn't blind me to some of the good that is going on there.
It's positive that Kassimis got on the Board and is now vice-chairman. He's a free thinker, which is good. Rosa is adding years of experience to good discussions. Colarossi has stopped trying to prosecute every administrator who doesn't have complete answers. And Marks is a distant memory.
Who knows, maybe Daddona is the right choice to get our schools on track. As for all the complaints about the Marks cheerleader- can't we let go of that one? Some of us are getting as annoying as she is by not moving on. I don't see Haynie having any influence. Does anyone? So why do we keep wasting so much time carping about her (like I am in this posting)?

  4. Mike Barbis (sp?) will go down with Haynie. Why is he continuing to support her? Is he crazy?

    1. He's a politician so let me connect the dots for you. The group that can hold its meetings in a phonebooth (a/k/a the RedApples) has its founder in Rowayton. She and Barbis are tight. Haynie is an Apple- therefore, Barbis sides with her to keep his friends happy.
Another thing is that Barbis and Nora King tried to use Susan Marks as a campaign ploy. Who could forget their facebook support page for her? Haynie and Marks were BFF's, so it makes sense that Barbis would be close to Haynie.

  5. How about less of the same . . . new topic time-
What should the Board of Education make their primary goal? Should finding a new superintendent be the immediate priority, and risk finding someone who is being forced out of a district? Is it that important to show forward progress? Or wait until spring when superintendents will be looking who are at the end of their contracts?

    1. Wait until spring......without a doubt!

  6. Wouldn't a superintendent who cares about his (or her) school district want to stay until the end of the school year? Isn't the Norwalk Board of Education a little worried that candidates in January would be people who are on the outs where they are?
