(1)The new math program, Go Math, has a problem from what I hear. It does not chunk skills. What is your opinion?
(2) what has happened to Daddona? What is he doing, if anything?
(3) Share your questions or topics. I've already started you off with two of my questions.
No one cares.
ReplyDeleteApparently you care! We have had 83 hits just this morning, my friend. I am delighted that the Board has calmed down, the schools are happy and the teachers are happy. A quiet and happy blog is a good sign. :)
ReplyDeleteQuestion #1 is true. The Go Math program is just a book. Teachers need to go beyond the book to give the students the Common Core skills they need to do well. Isn't that what good teaching is all about?
ReplyDeleteGood point. I agree. Are teachers getting the proper training to coordinate their teaching with the Common Core? Second question: How is the Common Core being received by the students?
ReplyDeleteQuestion. Is the activity that is happening between SoNCC and NEON going to affect the placement of a school in South Norwalk. I hope not.
ReplyDeleteSomeone please answer #2
ReplyDeleteThank you, 7 PM. I asked it and wondered why no one answered it. It's an honest question.
ReplyDeleteIf you do not privately prepare you children in math and writing they are at a disadvantage in college!
