"First, the four “no” votes did not violate the confidential process. Confidentiality was broken when the chair and others ignored concerns about the vetting process brought to the chair and to the committee attention during the process; as well as, having the former superintendent involved in the process; and leaving out the community. The community should have been involved in the “final” decision with one of the most important decision that will have an effect on all of our children in Norwalk." - Shirley Mosby quote from The Hour
-What do you think about this statement that appeared in The Hour?
-Did Mike Lyons lie on Nancy on Norwalk when he said Manny Rivera was not involved at all in choosing the new superintendent?
"Second, as for the board chair comment referring to “outshining the rest." PROACT, the search firm that was hired, created a “community profile” that was gathered from information received from the community input sessions; as to what they thought Norwalk needed in a superintendent reflecting Norwalk's diverse community. PROACT ranked the candidates in accordance to the community profile and there were a couple of “outstanding” candidates; including a couple of minorities who ranked high. Adamowski was not in the top five. The search firm, PROACT, was paid a substantial amount of money to do this search and get feedback from the community."- Shirley Mosby

These women are being treated horribly by the Apples. They are telling the truth and are getting battered for it. How disgusting of the same old same old people who want the truth hidden.
ReplyDeleteI was not able to post on Nancy on Norwalk. My comment was considered an attack on commenters, so I will post here.
ReplyDeleteI suggested a business card for Lisa Thomson and Sue Haynie. It would read:
Lisa Thomson and Sue Haynie, the know it alls, available for consulting on everything
For those who asked about the Dalio Foundation Grant and who should be held accountable, here is the information
ReplyDelete-Ralph Valencizi met with the principals and the Dalio Foundation people, not the deputy sup't
-Ralph Valencizi wrote the mid-year report for the Dalio Foundation Grant, not the deputy sup't
-Ralph Valencizi went to the five schools with the Dalio Foundation Grant folks, not the deputy sup't
-Ralph Valencizi is the administrator who has Chief of Partnerships in his title
Who was in charge of this grant? I think you can figure it out!
Well, glad to see the deputy supporters, as usual, are here in full force! For many years, he's been supervising the principals. Ralph is a relative newcomer to this farce.
ReplyDeleteThe grant was only going into its second year; ralph was bestowed his job by his wife's uncle (moccia) while he was still in office. Your math doesn't work. Ralph has been evaluating the principals. He was in charge of the grant.
ReplyDeleteThe million dollar question is how ralph got a raise while people lost their jobs due to his ineptitude
Please stop defending him and ask the teachers how all the IT initiatives are working out.
2:31 PM, yes, there is a reason that there are supporters of the deputy. As usual, the know-it-alls are wrong.
ReplyDeleteI have a suggestion for you, since you know everything, you should consider changing your name to "Google." Google knows everything.. Ha! Ha! Ha!
Please tell me what i said was incorrect.
DeleteRalph isn't a newcomer. His title includes chief of partnerships. He was present when there was an issue at a school when the rep of the foundation was there. The chrome books aren't working as advertised. Mike lyons touted that we have a twitter and Facebook page (s) which are rarely updated.
You get kicked off of NON for personal attacks so you decided to come here???
Wait, I am not disagreeing with you.i am disagreeing with the people who are blaming the deputy when it clearly is Ralph's responsibility. I was not kicked off of NON either. Sorry if there was a mix-up.
DeleteOops....sorry...I'm just so angry that the BOE rewarded somebody who screwed up royally and caused good people to becone unemployed while his lap dog lyons tried to throw the principals under the bus.
DeleteOne can only hope that Ralphie follows his buddy and goes to new london.
I certainly agree that Lyons is throwing principals under the bus. He seems to want a clean sweep. If what the ladies on the Board spoke the truth, and I truly believe they did, Lyons appears to be a liar and a manipulator. Now the Apples want to manipulate who gets chosen for the Board during the elections. Norwalk is in huge trouble if taxpayers allow this to happen.
ReplyDeleteWell, with Mosby's record (in fact, the whole family's record) of filing complaint after complaint that are never supported with facts and are rejected as baseless, this is your source for "truth"?
ReplyDeleteMike Lyons never said the top candidate was Adamowski. He said Adamowski was among the top four candidates. What happened to the other candidates? Adamowski made sure that Manny Rivera got $25,000 from the SDE to go to New London. Makes sense that "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours." That's why the truth appears to be on the side of the four ladies.
ReplyDeleteOnly in norwalk can our old superintendent be given his job by our new superintendent and our BOE hires someone without the proper certificate and isn't the top person on the search firms list.
ReplyDelete....and there were minority candidates on that list. I wonder where they fell on the list.
ReplyDeleteConnect the dots. It is obvious who is lying.
ReplyDeleteDream on to the supporters of the Trio. They have accomplished NOTHING. What do they have to show for all of their noise?
ReplyDeleteHow about improved test scores for one? Besides, you just make noise and you have no accomplishments!
