No one comments anymore because they are saddened by the loss of so many beloved administrators and the chaos in the budget arena. People have given up hope for a better system.
Even with the BOE getting more money for their budget next year (through grants or us taxpayers), the rumor at my son's school is that they're getting half a million less to work with next year. That shortfall can only come from staff or program cuts, which isn't good for the kids. Where is all the BOE money going if it's not going to the schools?

Who could have predicted that demonizing them, cutting salaries and benefits and reducing job security might make it a slightly less attractive option for people?" -Eschalon And I will add....'treating teachers as less than professionals by not allowing them input into major decision making changes'
