On Susan Marks Leaving

Susan Marks appears not to understand that she is finished.....ended her time in Norwalk...no longer superintendent. I have heard that she is busy appointing best friends to positions (Can you believe Carol M. to the interim assistant's position) and making decisions that are no longer hers to make. She is leaving a mess behind for the Interim superintendent! Also heard was that she and Haynie have been tied to the hip making these decisions. Susan, it's over! Say good bye.......And Susan and Lisa, it has been heard that the Red Apples will be applesauce under Daddona. The party appears to be over.

Board Restores Some Positions

Norwalk school board restores 5 teachers, 1 assistant principal - Norwalk Hour The remainder of the money went to pay down the debt incurred. Library aides were not fully restored. They will be shared between two buildings, with fewer hours.

Change

The budget created the need for change. As professionals, the staff must do their best for the students now. What changes would you, parents and staff, like to see happen with the new leadership? Please try to stay positive. We know how difficult the budget cuts were. Time to move on from the negatives.

Back to School

Moving on, as requested.........It has come that time to discuss back to school! What is class size looking like, libraries, etc.? We know how drastically the budget has been cut, but we need to know the final effects on classrooms. Have families moved out or are they sending their children to private schools because of the budget mess? Tell us what you are thinking......

Interim Superintendent Appointed

Tony Daddona to take the reins as interim superintendent -Norwalk Hour ---------------------------------- Congratulations, Tony Daddona! Unfortunately, it was reported to me that Sue Haynie lost it at the Board meeting. I heard she was out of control. If so, she needs to step down. She needs to be able to support the appointed interim superintendent for the sake of the students and staff or get off the Board.
