Your turn

Budget was presented last night. Apples have been very quiet, but then they control the Board so they don't need to be vocal. Are S. Harris and a former Board member (and Apple ) BFF now or is SH learning how to vote the Apple way through the former Board member? Will the new superintendent's budget go through with the requested % increase or will further cuts be required? These are some of the topics in question around the city. You can certainly bring up your own topics.....your turn!

  1. Chances are the budget will go through unchallenged. New superintendents usually get a honeymoon.

  2. Defibrillators were mentioned as being in the budget by Mike Lyons, I believe. I looked through the whole budget and can't find them. Would someone tell me where that line item is, please?

  3. Someone tell me who is going to operate the defibrillator, where they will be kept in big and far flung buildings, and who is going to pay for the replacement batteries after they are used? It could take 5-10 minutes to get one in a big school and hen get it back to a victim.

  4. Defibrilators aren't even in the budget. That's what I'm hearing. Mike Lyons where are you?
