Board of Ed Vote from Home?

Tonight the Board votes on whether the Board of Education can call in a Board vote from home.  So if a Board member misses the information meeting and does not attend the voting meeting, it is fine for this Board member to call in a vote on the issue.  How does that sound to you, taxpayers?

Will Mike Lyons be able to chair Board meetings from Rhode Island?

How many other cities allow Board members to vote by phone?

  2. Let's see ... Greenwich, Stamford, Stratford, Westport ... all allow for this. It is the 21st century after all
