Red Apples

Let's talk about apples, since the news around the school system is on hold, waiting for a decision from the superintendent. Red Apples are still around, but who are they exactly? If the superintendent decides to go, who will they support, if anyone? Are there enough of them left to make a difference? Or is the group composed of one board member and some friends? Does anyone know?

  1. There's nothing wrong with a group of people who support Susan Marks. Their founder gave a pretty spirited defense of Supt. Marks over the summer (not saying it's accurate but I respect the oomph behind it). I check out their website because I figure it's a pretty accureate way to know what the superintendent is really planning. After her budget plan that was going to really hurt our kids' schools, I figure I have to be a little more on top of this stuff.
All I can say is that I'm a parent and they don't speak for me.
