  1. Mike Lyons, where is the Rivera letter from the State Department that says he can have a lottery for After the Bell?

  2. Jean Evans Davilla, Instructional Specialist 6-12, has just resigned. Another loss for the district, another vacancy. Until this year, she was in charge of K-12 literacy. It appears that those who are leaving Norwalk are leaving for higher positions, so their training and supervision must have been top notch. Other districts are just picking the most knowledgeable of our administrators. I remember Jean was strong in her belief in Her committee ' decision on C.K. Certain Board members went after her. Mike Lyons, the body count is mushrooming. This is not a good image for Norwalk. Red Apples' criticism and negativity has created this situation.

  3. Jean's departure is a big loss. There were many who threw her under the bus including the former deputy, but she was very smart, articulate, and very honest, qualities that more people should have but don't.
    Jean, never look back!!!!
    good for you.

  4. You must be delusional. There is NO training and NO supervision. There has been none for decade.

  5. Yes about the deputy throwing her under the bus. He did it to me and many others. Big part of the reason I left years early.

How much of a loss her leaving is, that's another story.

  6. If the deputy super is gone, why leave? Makes no sense.

  7. I know the deputy as a fair evaluator. If you were not doing your job, then he went after you. There are plenty of people who could write here that the deputy threw them under the bus, when in fact, they threw themselves under the bus. the deputy has left. He is not the negative force. Can't throw him under the bus for your problems. Totally unprofessional of you.

  8. Cannot. Even. Speak. The previous post is fantasyland.

  9. You have your own reality, 8:47 PM. The Deputy is a good guy. You are proving that you are unprofessional by maligning him when he is no longer there. The many many administrators who are bailing on Norwalk are certainly not bailing because of him. He no longer occupies the office. It must be that they are bailing because of the negativity and finger pointing of the Red Apples. Mike Lyons is a Red Apple too. Who are the Red Apples, including Mike, going to blame for all the administrators giving up on Norwalk now? Your reality, 8:47 PM is the one that is false. False. False.

  10. I agree. The "New Norwalk Way" is to chase everyone out. The school system is going to be run by complete novices. This is no way to strengthen student achievement. Our brightest and best left Norwalk. If parents can leave Norwalk, go now. The schools are in big trouble. Taxpayers will be in bigger trouble once the State Department of Education audits the books. RedApples think this is a good thing. Watch taxes go sky high in the very near future. What idiots INVITE an audit?

  11. Isn't it interesting that Nancy on Norwalk has chosen not to report that another administrator resigned? They appear to support what they want to support. Look who is on their board! Is it a coincidence that a top RedApple is listed there?

  12. An investigation of the Board of Education needs to take place by the SDE. The nastiness directed at various staff members was never stopped by the Board. This is more than should be tolerated by ordinary people. The derogatory comments, the malicious statements, the lies and the groups formed to "take down" administrators is unsupportable. Shame on these people! Shame on the Board for not controlling these behaviors. An investigation is in order here.

  13. We haven't seen Adamowski's final contract yet. We only saw an outline. What are the perks?

  14. We have been able to see Dr. Crevecouer's credentials on line including that he has a PhD in Special Education, Certificate of Advanced Study in Special Education, Master of Science Degree in Education, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, and who is an Assistant College Professor in Special Education at CUNY.

Do we have any information about what level of education, training or credentials that Ms. Ayers has?
