Civility Code?

There are no signatures on the BOE Civility Code. Are you wondering who is objecting?

  1. I had posted on this site in December that I supported the original draft by BoE's chairperson. As I stated at the meeting at which it was discussed, I would sign that draft in a heartbeat, although I believe that people who practice respect will do so regardless of a signed pledge.
I don't support some proposed changes that have been suggested since our first discussion of the code.

  2. Sounds like a Sue Haynie agenda. There she goes again!

  3. Colarossi didn't like Marks and Haynie did. Colarossi likes Dadonna and Haynie doesn't. Neither Colarossi nor Haynie like each other. We get it already. Follow Roberts Rules and get on with things already.

  4. Translation of above comment: Mr. Intelligent didn't like "Over-her-head Rookie". " Ms. Rage and Greedy for Power" did. Mr. Intelligent likes "Capable and Well Respected" Interim. "Ms. Rage and Greedy for Power" hates Interim. Mr. Intelligent and "Ms. Rage and Greedy for Power" dislike each other. So what else is new? The above commenter left out one thing; "Over her head Rookie" gave "Rage and Greedy for Power" lots of power. "Capable Interim" won't do that. Everything make sense now? Tune in for the next episode of........."As the Board Turns."

    1. It shouldn't be about who likes whom.
Colarossi is tough. Haynie is just mean. Colarossi gets lots of policy changes passed (shows he can build consensus). Haynie fights them.
BTW, enough of us remember Haynie fighting the service dog policy- hmm . . guess children with physical disabilities don't rate with Sue Haynie.

  5. I would like to comment about Miss Haynie's lack of civility to our African American community. Her talking about Blacks all the time at Tuesday's Board of Education meeting came out being racist. Mr. Barbis, sir, you can't help her with reading scores or whatever. The community is not happy about this.
