  1. For those who are interested in how Andres Roman and I believe we can make the difference that is needed on our Norwalk Board of Education, please visit our campaign website at www.norwalkcommunityvalues.com or check out our Facebook page.

  2. I believe it is important to remember that if it weren't for Susan Haynie's interference on AMPLIFY CKLA, teachers would have had a curriculum for their elementary students this Fall. Because a high school graduate wanted to force her choice of curriculum on the teachers, the elementary grades will be left behind in September. It is probably not possible to start a new program at this point. A vote for Haynie is a vote for INTERFERENCE, TROUBLE & LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.

    1. Shrewd political move having 2 Apples running as Republicans (Haynie and Rosatto) and 1 Apple as a Democrat (Sherelle Harris). Plus, Keyes votes Apple all the time.
I don't think that those people would help the BOE.

  3. Norwalk, please do not vote the RedApples in. I don't think either this superintendent or this community deserves these nasty people. Give the new superintendent and the community a chance to heal.

  4. The Red Apples are a poison to this district. Keyes needs to come out of her comma and realize that the current BOE is dysfunctional. I agree that we need to give the new superintendent needs a chance, but he won't get it with the current BOE members!

  5. Educate your friends who vote. If voters are not aware of the viciousness of the RedApples, they will cast votes for people who will cause problems. It is important in this election to inform your friends of the importance of their vote. Don't stay silent.

  6. I don't see anyone saying anything positive here, so I'll be the first.
My family went through a tough time a few years ago and the court had us working with Andres Roman. He understood what was going on but still managed to be kind. Mr. Roman helped all of us a lot. I think he will do a good job for our kids.

    2. It says a lot about the commitment Andres has to serving all of us as an independent voice on the Board of Education that he chose to run on a new party line rather than seek a major party endorsement. He has my vote!
I am very proud to be sharing the Norwalk Community Values endorsement with him.

  7. How surprising it is to me that Republicans would let Haynie run again after she voted to cut library aides, created larger class size and caused all kinds of problems on the Board. Does Moccia think we have poor long term memories? Does Moccia think he is going to get re-elected when he makes such poor decisions about who should be the candidates for the Board? Such bad decision making is not acceptable, Mayor.

  8. Do we blame Moccia for Haynie or praise him for Kassimis? I don't know.
I do know that Dick Moccia and his BET Chairman were behind last year's budget cuts. I blame him for that quickie meeting where lots of cuts were made.
It's not tough to imagine a BoE with no majority party next year. That's reason enough to vote the Norwalk Community Values team. You want to shake things up, that'll do it.
