In My Opinion

UNLESS SOMEONE LIKE YOU CARES A WHOLE AWFUL LOT, NOTHING IS GOING TO GET BETTER, IT'S NOT .........Dr. Seuss

In My Opinion:

If you want peace and harmony to return to the Board of Education; if you want respect back in Norwalk; if you want this superintendent to succeed because he is all about respect.......

YOU MUST VOTE WITH INTELLIGENCE.

In my opinion, the Board of Education has taken a path toward hatred and vilification, toward vendettas and a need for power.

We, in Norwalk, must work together.  It is my belief that the only way we can deliver harmony and respect to this superintendent is to elect Collarossi, Roman, Kassimis and Mosby to the Board of Education.

VOTE OR 'NOTHING IS GOING TO GET BETTER, IT'S NOT'

  3. ***************NEWS FLASH*****NEWS FLASH****************

The Board of Education budget will be short 4-5 million dollars just to fund the equivalent of this year's budget!!!! Nancy on Norwalk reported the facts.

    HAYNIE NEGOTIATED THE CONTRACT,

Will you thank the incompetent Haynie by voting for her? Will you be happy WHEN YOUR SCHOOL IS THE ONE TO CLOSE? Then you aren't a fruit anymore, you are a nut!

GET HAYNIE OFF THE BOARD! If this doesn't prove her incompetence, then Norwalk is royally screwed up.

  4. Very concerned about the NewsFlash (reported by Nancy on Norwalk). Kind of puts Haynie's hate-speech against Collarossi in perspective. If there's one person I'm going to trust in a tough budget year to generate some fresh ideas-- its Collarossi.

  5. Norwalk has become a city twisted with anger and filled with hatred. The Red Apples have created this shipwreck. How tragic and unproductive this group has been.

  6. Pictures of Keyes, Rosato, Haynie and Harris appear in the Hour today. The ad supported these four, but was paid for by a Greenwich resident. What's with that? This is the Red Apple slate in Norwalk. Why is this person, who lives in Greenwich, advertising for the Apples?

    1. How is that any different than a Bridgeport union leader?

    2. The Union leader taught in Norwalk. He was elected by the teachers to represent them. Who is this woman from Greenwich? Why is someone from a lily white community supporting the Apple slate? Makes no sense. Something doesn't seem right!

    3. First, the purple four coordinate for a house party staged with corporate donations.
Then they have it advertised on an unsigned flyer--
Then mysteriously, a banker from Greenwich runs an ad in The Hour that says the same thing.
Seriously. Haven't we figured it out yet- the rules don't apply to Apples and their crew.

  7. Now I understand why the three year budget plan was kept under wraps. Certain people didn't want the public to know the school system would need at least 4-5 million for the 14-15 budget. The pieces all fit. So was Rivera told to keep quiet about the 2014 budget when he held his focus groups? He never said a word about it. Looks to me like there are higher powers at work here keeping information from the taxpayers until after the election!

    1. Pretty obvious that Rivera was instructed to ixnay on the udgetbay . . . if you know what I mean. The Haynie friends did more harm keeping it secret for so long. If it looks like a coverup and quacks like a coverup, chances are it's a coverup.
The Greenwich JP Morgan top executive who "signed" the ad for the Fab Purple Four- who cares? Obviously there was nobody local who would do it. The ones who were willing are the last people anyone would take seriously.

  8. So if the Apples this Greenwich JPMorgan executive paying for their advertisement against the rules, is that illegal? They also held that fundraiser which, I believe, was illegal. Why are we not seeing that reported anywhere but here? Where is The Hour and Nancy on Norwalk reporting this? Have they been told, like Rivera, to keep silent? Have I missed the articles? People should know about the women who operate "above the law."

  10. Haynie in The Hour says she has a bachelors degree. Wonder why she won't say where she got it. Or what it's in. Or what year she earned it. Four years ago, she never said she had a degree. Hmm . . . makes you wonder.

    1. "What difference does it make?" to quote someone in politics. Why don't you folks think more about what's going on in the schools and who's scaming the system than who has what degree and from where. Many are cheating, stealing, and on and on from NPS but you don't hear much about all of that! Why is all that stuff buried under the rug?

  11. She got it from Parson's School of Design and Charter Oak College in CT, according to her linked in profile. The only thing I know about Charter Oak is that they give online degrees. Anyone up for checking this out?

    1. Linkedin says she got her degree in 2001. But four years ago, she didn't mention a degree. that says it all.

  13. If you are going to look up ms. Haynie's background then best you look up the other 8 BOE members or 9 other candidates. But of course this site would never consider doing that. Even the Red Aapples site has posted everybody's info. LOL the panic on this website over a few moms challenging a broken system.

    1. LOL? Are you laughing over the fact that the person who wants to choose the ELA program for the elementary schools spent the longest time in her career as a waitress? A WAITRESS thinks she knows better than literacy specialists? As far as I am concerned, she can serve up my dinner, but not my students' curriculum. The waitress has created enormous dissent on the Board and even has the unmitigated gall to try to make a Harvard graduate look bad?

MY CHOICE IS BALZANO, HAYNIE, KEYES. You can pick #4.
